Cili Kampung x Dotty’s Pastries & Coffee

We were appointed to manage the press release drafting, translation, dissemination and media monitoring for the announcement of Cili Kampung’s acquisition of a 50% stake in Dotty’s Pastries & Coffee. 

Our scope of work centred on crafting a clear and newsworthy announcement tailored for business, corporate and mainstream media audiences. This included drafting of the press release, timely dissemination alongside official event visuals, proactive media follow ups, and media monitoring.

Despite the announcement period coinciding with the Chinese New Year festive season, the release achieved swift traction across Tier 1 and Tier 2 media within the first week of distribution. The campaign successfully delivered the guaranteed coverage targets while generating additional organic pick up across print, online and social media platforms.

Overall, the dissemination secured 57 pieces of coverage across multiple media channels. The campaign generated an estimated PR Value of RM1.236 million, demonstrating the effectiveness of strategic media targeting and strong media relations in amplifying corporate announcements without the need for event activation.
