Spark of Inspiration with the Nippon Paint Young Designers Award
Since its launch in 2008, the Nippon Paint Young Builders Award (NPYDA) has evolved from a local programme onto a pan-Asia platform targeted at young designers both in interior design and architecture. Centered on eco-design, the NPYDA is a competition that draws on the fresh talent in universities and colleges around the region.
For its fifth anniversary, Impact Communications worked with Nippon Paint to step up the media attention for this CSR programme.

The Results
Drawing from the strong track record of participation the NPYDA has achieved over the years and endorsement of industry players, Impact Communications developed strong key messages that highlighted how NPYDA is the leading young designer award in the region. The strategy paid off through the strong media support for pitched interviews on television news and print for Ms. Gladys Goh of Nippon Paint Malaysia and the media launch and finale events.
